In the night of day
The crisp wind, up the moonlight
And just us together
Sometimes when I don’t have enough time (or mood) composing poems, I find writing Haikus satisfying – appreciating nature with a little touch of poetry.
In the night of day
The crisp wind, up the moonlight
And just us together
Moon lights up at night
Sometimes it gets clouded up
So as my hopes too
The weather today
Like you, it’s consistently
Changing cold and warm
The beauty of you
Similar to the bright sun
And to twinkling stars
Under the night sky
I try to recall your face
But pain’s what I see
I hear your whisper
in the breezy fine evening
But you weren’t there
See the moon up high
Underneath it, us, stranded
Waiting for our time
Withering flowers
The once-green grass turning brown
So are my feelings
Tonight the moon shines
While I stare and contemplate
In my own darkness
the sun takes its break
as it sets here where I lay
beside you, I pray
